    EGT Probe Bolt

    Gent,

Have a quick question for you.

Went to install my EGT probe however it is missing the ring inside the bolt to hold the probe in place.

Can someone enlighten me to the name of the bolt that is used to secure the probe?

Thanks, I found one on Amazon and ordered it.

By chance, would you have an idea of how much of the probe should be inserted into the #6 cylinder locating?

Using the tapped hole on the block off plate.

I had a question about installing a CTS3 probe myself.

The far back block off plate I have has a threaded fitting on is this the area ok to install the EGT probes?

So I’m about to install my Edge CTS3 probe in the pre-drilled hole on my block off plates.

The question is do I need to install a type of sealant on the threads locktite, Antiseize, Rocket?

I know I should not put it in dry what are you guys doing?

I'd put a touch of anti-seize on it if it were mine.

It's been a long time since I installed mine but I believe the instructions were to go in till you hit the other side and then back it up a 1/4 inch.

If it doesn't reach the other side then stop before the compression nut hits the bend and lock it down there.
