    EGT Monitoring

    Hello,

Is there a way to monitor EGT without installing an aftermarket probe?

I notice there are a couple of Probes at the turbo and on the downpipe.

I remember my 2014 Ford Tuners had access to the Stock probes?

Unfortunately the stock exhaust temperature probes are after the turbo and too far away to provide any useful timely information about the true EGT.

Ideally the probe needs to be in the exhaust manifold at the “Y” before the turbo.

The rear block off plate is an easier install and is sufficiently accurate when the engine is under load.

No, you'll need an aftermarket gauge with a probe.

The Autometer 4th Gen match looks amazing.

If you have an MM3 there is an add-on probe as well, PM me if you have any questions or would like to order one.

How do you like the edge ? I’m looking at getting one and I’m wondering what else I’ll be able to monitor

    Re: EGT Monitoring

    I really like the EDGE.

    I run a CTS2.

It has a whole list of thing that you can monitor.

    It also has maintenance manager.
