I've been meaning to try to figure out if my grand etre is working centre. gold this truck is been a pain.
Even when logged in it's a deleted 2013 5500 C&C
Somebody is god a minute to tell me how to check to see if it's working would be a great help
The goal plug heater light comes on the but it doesn't seem like it's working science coughs and smokes and carries on for 1st minute half to 2 minutes.

Best way is to watch voltmeter and see if its dropping during cycles.
It will drop between 11-12 volts when it cycles then back to 14.

It also depends on how cold it is where your at?
Look at your voltage and see if it drops and comes back several times.
Really cold your truck will spit and sputter until it warms up.

Depends on what you consider really cold LOL.
It was -30c 2 days ago and even plugged in took me 20 minutes to get it to stay running and the lights don't dim anymore like they used to when the heater was working.
