    2015 RAM 2500 Headlights

I apologize if it's in the wrong section and I attempted to use the search feature to answer my question but didn't find anything.

Truck is a laramie if that helps

So my truck has the factory projector headlights and well they're pathetic in a manner of brightness.

It honestly looks like the driver light is on noticeably dimmer than the passenger.

Hell my turn signals light up more than the low beams.

They also appear to be HID (not sure if factory were HID or not, but the harness isn't butchered) I have to turn on the foglights to be able to see.

Is there anything I need to look at?

Or is there a brighter bulb?

    Thank you

The 4th Gens all came with the crappy halogen bulbs.

I upgraded mine to HID from Diode Dynamics with a bulb brightness of 5,000k.

    That’s the pure white light.

The 6K is white with a bluish hue and the 4K is like the factory color white with a yellowish hue.

I’m very pleased with the HID’s.

Do you have the projector headlights?

I was unable to find the HID 5K, 6K or 4K bulbs for my projectors.

I purchased these back in 2017.

I don’t see the HID kits anymore on their website just HID bulbs.

They must have discontinued them or something.

    Sorry about that.

@AK Bob I went back through my receipts when I purchased them and copied the part number sku and did a search on their website, nothing turned up so I guess they stopped selling the HID kits.

Looks like Headlight Revolution offers some different bulbs some led as well for 4th generation with factory projectors. I have heard decent reviews and was thinking of giving them a try. I am also fairly dissapointed in the factory projectors.

I have a 2014 Laramie Longhorn with the projectors. I bought the Headlight Revolution kit, with the Ultra 2 bulbs and pass thru harnesses. It doesn’t look as bright with the lights on in the shop, but they are super bright. I also did the fog lights from headlight revolutions and reverse lights. The reverse lights are insanely bright as well. They are a little spendy, but I honestly couldn’t see a lick with the stock bulbs. I also did the hi beams as well. The kits are easy to install, and there are Utube links to help. I did opt to get the bigger covers In order to fit the ultra bulb without having to modify anything. And keep everything sealed up nice.
