    Federal MTS

So I'm just throwing this out there since there really is not to much feedback on these tires. Let me explain why I chose these tires before everyone says there useless because there not mud tires or at's. So first is i never ever take my truck off road or in to mud or any sand pits , strictly paved roads . I live in the north east so yes there is winter time . I have a whole other set of stock 17" wheels with Goodyear duratrac tires for that. 20210201_131912.jpg
    20210201_131939.jpg

Also they are load range E so I can still pull decent weight with them. There a 35x12.5x20 , I also like the way they look coming from building cars and drag racing a good part of my younger days. let me know what you folks think about them figured I'd ask .

16 cummins Laramie longhorn, ccsb, 35x12.5x20 xplora mts ,tis wheels, fully deleted, pusher add a turbo kit, stainless diesel 475 5blade turbo over 63mm VGT delete turbo, manton springs, manton valve bridges, manton pushrods,ARP 625 headstuds, steedspeed t4i manifold , S&S 80% over injectors, thuren rear trackbar, kingspeed billet valve cover, revmax valve body billet plate, CCV reroute, pusher intake horn, thuren 2in level with king 2.5 front and rear, sway bar kit ,track bar and king steering damper. Air bags from airlift. 4" exhaust, fass lift pump,MM3,DRD tunes.pusher coolant reroute.

I think the look pretty cool honestly. Federal brand is still relatively new as far as I recall but they look like a truck version of the nitto 420s.

For those with young ones reference blaze and the monster machine tires

I agree, they look like the 4x4 edition of 420s. Do you have a pic of the sidewall?

No not at the moment but there was a guy on you tube that mounted them on a f250 it looked really good . The side walls are aggressive looking as well. But yeah its basically the truck version of the nitto 420s. You guys nailed it right there!

    Re: Federal MTS

I like em. My biggest worry would be hitting a puddle. I’d be worried they’d be was to hydroplane.

But they don’t make them in 35/12.5/17. So I bought some Federal xplora RT. Going to have em mounted this Sat. Was pretty cheap on Amazon.

I did notice a lot of people being concerned about hydroplaineng, but I don't see how with the large sipeing on these. I will get them mounted in the spring and give my honest opinion once i put them through their paces.

I’ll be following- I think they’ll look really good. It’s been a long time since I looked but Mickey Thompson had some Baja ATZ (maybe) that were similar looking

The tires I would assume are not good in snow , which is why I have a different set for the winter. Also so I don't wreck my nice rims.
