    Lowering A 4th Gen 2500 RAM

I’ve done some searching and looking to see if anyone on here has lowered a 2500 4x4?

I’m not in to raising my 2015 truck, nothing wrong with it but to me everything looks better lower.

Can anyone start to point me in that direction?

    Thanks in advance.

There are quite a few reverse leveling springs out there (lower the back about 2").

Not sure how much luck you'll have lowering the front at all.

I have been in touch with coil spring specialties LLC and the can do 4” front springs for $468 for the pair and $598 for the rear 5” lower springs.

I may look into to air ride from a company called kelderman.com.

Yeah I would suggest if you have the money to spend to do it right and still have a good ride definitely go with Kelderman.

I don't personally have any experience with them but from what I've heard and if I were to do my suspension again in the future I would go with them.

That's not a bad price for the springs.

I bet it's the other supporting components that will really add up.

What's your plans with the truck?

You going for show truck cruiser or is this for racing?

    It’s a semi-daily, that I some times tow a 20” enclosed car trailer.

I put on factory step bars on it and really don’t like the look so if I can lower it and remove the bars and get in and out just as easy with the bars, my family members will be happy as well.

    Ahh, I get it.

Another option you might consider is Amp power steps.

I had some on my '12 and they are great steps that are invisible when in the up position.

Things to add to your list: drag link, front, and rear track bars.

Since your looking at a lowering 4” or more, it will shift your axles to the passenger side.

Also, the up suspension travel is going to be limited and may require frame notching.

Since you are only occasionally towing a 20’ trailer, it might be worthwhile to get a 1500 instead, rather than living with a compromised ride of a lowered HD.

I have been thinking of the same thing lately.

I have a leveling kit now with 35s but rather be a bit lower than factory height, of course, different wheels and tires.

Maybe two front and 4 in the rear.

Did you end up lowering yours?

I did a reverse level with CSS springs in the back of mine - cheap and easy.

Obviously stays stock height in front, but I like my look and ride more than leveling the front with a lift.
