Sorry to drag up an older thread, but I'm interested to see if anyone is running the new Falken AT4W.
If so, how do they compare to the 3w.
It's about time for some new tires and im on the fence between the Cooper AT3 (possibly off the list due to @
DIESELWRKS experience)
Nitto recon grapplers, Falken wild peak AT4W, or the RT01.
I have over 60,000 miles on my Ridge Grapplers and am at 5/32nds.
I don't have any complaints about them, especially living in NC, so snow is not a big concern.
They have gotten relatively noisy, and wet weather is a little sketchy, but that is to be expected, being this close to the end of the tire's life.
The tread wear warranty, and the cost are what I have seen when looking at other tires, but from what I have read on the internet, it's most likely impossible to get the tire companies to stand behind any treadwear warranty.
It's disappointing, but I guess that is our country today.
I am primarily hwy miles, so I hope that with how I drive the truck, I can get 50,000 plus miles out of any of the above tires.
The last thing I want to do at roughly $1,800.00 a set now is experiment.
I just wanted to see if anyone had any current feedback on the above tires.
It does look like the Falkens get excellent reviews.
I'm just curious about the Falken RT01 as well.
They look very similar to the Ridge Grapplers.
