    New Equipment Trailer

    Well it’s that time again.

I need to purchase a new car / equipment hauler.

Does anyone have any good opinions on diamond c, PJ, or load trail and even Texas pride. Looking at 34-38 ft 20k rated trailer.

Get one that uses I beam vs c channel for the neck.

    I bought a bigtex 22gn and it’s built well.

Much better than my father in laws Texas pride.

If moneys not the deciding factor I’d definitely go PJ.

I’m looking at I beam neck no matter what.

The PJ B8 or the H7.

The B8 is 8inch channel frame and I beam neck.

If I could have waited I probably would have ordered a optioned out PJ.

It took 3 months to get my Bigtex, PJ was saying longer since I needed a taller neck and I wanted a neck deck.

I think mines 12 inch I beam on the frame as well as the neck but mines a deck over not a low boy.

I’ve towed my father in laws Texas pride it’s just doesn’t feel as stable as mine but it’s c channel neck and frame.

Yeah I need the low boy with the vehicles and equipment.

I have a c channel deck over bumper pull.

I need the length and payload of at least 14k roughly.

The PJ I can get 20k gvwr with payload of 14k for the B8 and 13500 on the H7.

I just wonder if the 8inch channel frame with I beam neck would hold up to heavy towing occasionally and moderate constantly.

I’m in the Midwest. If I found a good deal I would ship it back to me.

    Paulibuilt trailers.
He builds to what you want and need.
I believe he is still there.

    I had a 25' 20k Big Tex.

I loved it, pulled great most of the time you didn't even know you had a load behind you.

I would recommend oil bath axels.

We have several Big Tex dealers out here in Idaho.

with Fox IFP shocks, thuren sway bar, rear track bar and front track bar, Warn 12k winch , custom winch mount, REVMAX trans pan,HD valve body and thermal bypas. Leer truck topper,Exotic head studs, Engine enhancements by the cummins whisper.

Diamond C and Big Tex are 2 of the best IMO as both are very well built.

Diamond C has a better finish than Big Tex IMO.
