Thread: EZ Lynk Custom Tunes

    EZ Lynk Custom Tunes

I have a stock 19 Megacab that I’m looking to get tuned emissions compliant or emissions intact.

I was watching a YouTube channel on tuning our trucks and saw a guy talking about tuning for emissions intact but not functioning.

I live in an area that I will get visually checked for the equipment when I get my yearly inspection and bi-yearly emissions.

I am just easier to keep it on the truck and deal with it.

I’m looking for EZ Lynk tuners that can do custom tunes emissions intact but inoperable.

If anyone can point me in the direction of some solid tuners I’d be much appreciated.

He wasn’t clear on what he had.

I watched the install video for this guy.

When I deleted my Duramax back in 2015 it was easy to talk about this stuff.

    No one was watching/listening.

Now you watch a video or Google stuff and you can’t get any answers.

That won’t work the emission equipment will clog up fast.

Unless you take it off, hollow it out, then reinstall.

    It’s intact but not intact.

    Re: EZ Lynk Custom Tunes

    Emissions compliant tunes shouldn’t.

Emissions intact nonoperational I agree would clog the system.

I’d love to delete the truck but not possible.

I live next door to DC.

I’m just looking for options on tuners without deleting them.

I pull a boat so the less soot out the tailpipe the better.

I was referring to intact but tuned out.

DRD does amazing things as I’m sure you have seen but I don’t think the 5th Gen tunes are out and uses the MM3.

Last I read they were about ready to go but having one cold startup issue.

In another video he does say and show he is running emissions intact tune.

In most cases emissions intact tuning really means limited to no EGR function but fully functioning DEF/SCR exhaust.

This allows you to to get a mild bump in power and throttle response, keep all the factory hard parts intact and pass emissions testing.

The down side is that you typically use more DEF fluid.

Last I heard all of the companies tuning with EZ Lynk are advertising emissions compliant tuning.

If you know for sure that's the platform you're down to picking a company you like to supply the tunes.

I have emissions-compliant tuning from Calibrated power right now using the Ezlynk tuner.

It works well, but I would like to switch the MM3 tuner from DDR.
