Anyone use royal purple synchromax for their G56?

Been researching it, seen some like it and I should use 7 quarts.

Any info good or bad.

7 quarts is a great thing to do in a G56.

As for the fluid, there are better options out there.

Hot Shot's G56 fluid just came out and it's great.

Amsoil is another great choice if you get the correct fluid.

Amsoil is what I use in my personal truck(G56).

We're dealers for both if you decide you'd like to order either.

We sell the Royal Purple too if you're wanting to use it.

Amsoil calls for their ATF SYNTHETIC, from what I've been reading people are using their Manual Transmission & Transaxle Gear Lube 75W-90.

Seems like a pretty big swing from trans fluid to a gear oil.

Seems like a pretty big swing from trans fluid to a gear oil.

I and many others use the Amsoil 75-90 transmission GL4 fluid. When Mercedes-Benz designed the G56 they spec'd it for 50wt fluid but FCA/Mopar decided to run ATF+4 in it. The 75-90 is actually closest to the weight that MB designed it to run on. The GL4 is needed due to the brass that's inside. *Using anything other than ATF+4 is completely up to the customer and solely their responsibility.*

Besides the transmission, is this the same for the front and rear diff’s?
I know it takes 7 quarts for the trans but how many for front and rear? 2016 3500

2016 Ram 3500 CC 4x4, G56, Dr. DRD medically cured!

2 quarts/Front and 4 quarts/Rear.
This fluid is a different type than what goes into the differentials.
