    LED Fun

So my wife bought me leds for for 2018 sport.

Thought that would be a cool quick upgrade.

    I was wrong.

    Truck has existing LEDS.

Map lights you had to fully disassemble the upper console as well as the reflectors inside.

Then noticed the footwell lights are these baby squares so orders some of the old cherokee lights to throw in instead since they are a direct plug and play replacement.

Has anyone tackled the dome light?

I pulled it but this is just a full led panel that’s hard wired in?

Your only option is to solder it?

Though about doing the same thing, but then decided to wait until the existing stock lights failed.

My stock map failed unfortunately which is what started this escapade.

    What a nightmare though.

3 out of the 4 of these clips refused to budge upon pull down when ever YouTube video made it seem easy. 3 of them disassembled themselves.

You then have to pry these reflectors off with hopes of maybe using them again so you can remove a special square led.

Then once you place your new led in it will not fit behind the reflector without removal or modification.

BoostedMotorsports has a video about that on YouTube.

I thought Ryan Mayer had done a video on that also but I couldn’t find it.

I just got down changing the map light, and they were a pain in the ***.

I pulled on it so much to try and get the four clips to release, and now i have a gap between the console and the headliner.

Any suggestions on how to snug it up again?
