    Question On Retunes?

I'm closing in on pulling the trigger for the MM3 tuner and FLO~PRO exhaust, but I was wondering if I did an intake horn and cold air intake later would I need to have the tuner refreshed?

No, but If you have a 2013+ and install a intake horn are going to remove your grid heater?

If you live in a colder climate and plan on running without the heater you may want to let Ray know as he can turn off the grid heater code (P2609) on your initial tune.

If you don’t turn this code off and you start your truck without a grid heater in near freezing temperatures with the remote start or with the key and allow the preheat cycle to run you run the risk of initiating a check engine light and P2609 code.

I have a 2012, and live in South Carolina.

I dont think it gets to cold to remove the grid heater.

That will be a later project.

    Thanks for the advice.

    Question On Retunes?

Hey all, I need to retune my truck due to the CP3 recall being done already have my MM3.

There's an option to have the SD card mailed or the tune file emailed.

Can I hook up the MM3 and install the file on the existing card if I have it emailed?

You will need to remove the SD card from the MM3, then copy and paste the new tune file onto the SD card using a Windows PC.

Ensure the new tune file replaces the old one in the same directory on the SD card.

Gotcha, I see; my laptop has an SD insert.

    Guess I'll just send it.

Thank you for the fast reply!
