Rear Diff Open

What’s up, guys.

I have a 2018 2500 Laramie with an open rear.

Yes, it sucks!

I didn’t know it was an option when buying the truck.

Anyway, I’m looking to put a limited Slip/Post in it.

The question is: Has anyone does this?

If so what parts or brand did you go with.

Tru track?

Factory parts?

Any lead way is much appreciated thank you.

I would go with the Yukon grizzly locker and get an install kit. Lockers are far superior than the limited slip and offer a true rear axle lockup and offer better traction.

I know you can still use the same crown and opinion you just need to change the Carrier and have the gear lash set up again there is a few lockers and limited slip types out there

I would go with a electric locker if you can that way you can unlock it when you're driving around and it does not act like a spool and eat tires when your cornering.

Yukon kit will work well for you and likely way less than the factory price.

Depending on driving style it’s a good upgrade!
