Thread: Headliner Replacement

    Headliner Replacement

Well, I accidentally screwed up my headliner on my 2015 Crew.

I can either replace it or I will recover it myself.

Recovering it myself will be the cheapest option.

I'm trying to locate the right color material.

I believe my interior color is diesel grey but my seats are the black vinyl ones and black carpet.

Vin code says my truck in an ST trim.

Is there a place where I can get the OEM color material?

    Ouch- headliners aren’t cheap!

Take a look at Mopar superstore website and see what pricing they have for you.

My next recommendation would be looking for someone local who does upholstery (preferably in cars/trucks).

I'll second the auto upholstery shop.

Good opportunity to get it covered in something custom.

    Re: Headliner Replacement

Think I'll just suck it up and do it myself.

Lots of info out there on the inner-webs!

Going to go with black suede and paint all the grey/beige trim black.

They say you have to remove the windshield to remove the headliner, but several people are just taking out the whole interior and getting it out one of the rear doors.

I've upholstered many sub boxes and center consoles so this shouldn't be too bad.

While I'm at it I'm going to sound deaden the roof.

    Re: Headliner Replacement

Back when I worked at the dealer, we did the windshield method to remove the headliner.

The dealer broke my windshield when having to remove my headliner for a sunroof leak.

Should make that big pig a 2 piece headliner.
