    FASS VS AirDog - Cummins

Looking for some insight as to which is the better option for the 6.7 Cummins.

Either way, I go I will be running a sump pump and looking to get cleaner fuel to the injection pump/injectors.

I’ve currently got an Air dog 165 on my 2nd gen and it has had two pumps fail over 5 years.

Curious as to if the FASS has many advantages over the airdog on the 6.7s.

Also what gph would be the best?

Looking to work up to about 650 rear wheels over time.

As of right now it has only been deleted and tuned with RaceME box tunes.

Any insight on where to purchase from and which I should pick would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

The FASS is much better IMO.

The Fleece in tank pump is way better than Fass or Airdog and doesn't need a sump.

It uses the factory connections with one extra connection to power the second pump.

Install is much easier with the Fleece pump.

Shoot me a PM or email if you want a price.

I've had really good luck with FASS pumps and would go with the 150.

I have no experience with Fleece pumps.

Agree with both above- I’ve had fine luck with Fass 165 (formerly called 150).

The Fleece pumps (like Joe said) are real nice and support 900hp if you get bit by the HP bug.

    Appreciate all the help.

Decided I’ll be going with a FASS before long.

I would use Fleece but to me, the extra filtration is just a little more peace of mind knowing it’s a cleaner fuel.

Clayton hooked me up with a FASS 165 and I ended up getting a Beans sump to feed it.

Just wondering.. what does everyone think of the new fass filters with no water drain port?

I would like to hear opinions.

I mean what if you got a bad batch of fuel?

    Where does the water go?

Is the water just held there?

Eventually it would get to the injection pump...

The 13+ trucks have great filtration, MUCH better than the 12- trucks.

The 12- trucks is where Fass/Airdog got their claim to fame, on trucks with poor fuel filtration.

We sell a ton of Fleece/FASS/Airdog but the reason I push Fleece on 13+ trucks is because:
    1. Less chance of fuel leaks
    2. 13+ trucks have great factory fuel filtration
    3. No sump line to get ripped off by road debris

At least with the factory filtration you can bleed off water.
    Just my .02
