Be warned, I have one of those green metal caps and it is VERY hard to get on and if you do get it to go on correctly, it is then extremely hard to get back off after burning through a full tank of fuel from the vacuum it creates.

The rubber O-ring on it is just too big to fit in the hole.

Don’t even use mine because of it.

Mine did too but when I filled one time I stowed where the hinge is and it got crushed bc I forgot to take it out.

I have one of the green caps, too.

I think I bought it off eBay, and it came with a DEG cap.

Mine has a magnetic piece milled into back sticks right to the door when I fill up, then I never forget it.

Mine fits tight but not too tight that it is hard to get out.

Good cap to have as it keeps out all the road grime, water, dust.

Interesting, yes, when did the fuel cap not make the cut, hmm how much profit does a days production create at the same MSRP w/o the cap?

    Random question, I know. LOL.
