Head Studs - Anybody Use These - Not ARP

    Just looking for some feedback.

My next project will be putting in head studs but having trouble swallowing ARP's price tag.

Looking for other options that are just as good as ARP.

I just got through watching this video, that is why I was asking.

I was just wanting to know if anybody had used them and if so what their feedback was.

I am considering buying these from all the reading I have done on them.

That is a huge saving in $$$ compared to ARP.

I’m running them on a 5.9CR with compounds.

They make over a 100psi of boost and they have held up so far.

I do have a fire ringed head.

I have had a few guys want them installed on there daily drivers.

One is running a s467.7 and the other is s472. And they so far gave no issue with them so far.

I have 36k on them now the others have over 80k on them.

They aren’t proven yet as they are relatively new but the value is certainly there.

There are several threads floating around the web about them and none seem to have bad reviews/failures.

That’s the best review I have seen about them.

I thought same thing but at the time couldn’t find anything that would give me confidence that they would hold up.

I sure didn’t want to be sitting on the back of a tow truck .

I've had my eye on the IFG studs and think I'm willing to give them a shot when I finally do studs.

It’s a s488 manifold and two s472 atmospheric chargers. I’ll dig to see if I have any. It was done two years ago. They are set up with two atmospheric feeding the manifold charger. It’s a beast and everyone hates me for the power it makes. It has a lot of top end speed. If you roll into it below 2nd gear and not locked up you will light the tires up no matter what.
