    DPF and Catalytic Convertor

Very much a noob question, but is the DPF and CC the same in all 6.7L trucks including a Cab & Chassis?

So basically is a consumer pick up truck exhaust cookers the same as Cab and Chassis ones?

    Thanks.

The main objective of a particulate filter (DPF) is to capture soot. However, unlike the catalytic converter (CC), it does not fight harmful exhaust gases.
