    Turbo Blanket - Or Not?

    Anybody here usin one?

    Apparently they help with quicker spool up which should be good for the fellas runnin bigger windmills

    Not necessary unless you're using the stock coolant tank on certain swaps or chasing HP.

    I agree with cumminsdieselfreak, but never hurts.

    Lowers underhood Temps, and I have first hand experience blowing a hole in a stock coolant reservoir when I installed a high mount second gen swap.

    (Even with a blanket) a metal coolant reservoir is must if you get a bigger turbo.

    As for spool times, it might help but probably nothing noticeable.

    It's mainly important so you don't burn up close wires or coolant lines.
