    MM3 High IT temp

Question - new user to the MM3.

I hooked everything up and got the tunes on the SD card, but I noticed that while driving around the city I have a high IT temp. I have seen it hit 117 (outside temp was 26). From what I have read online, it should only be 20 above the outside temp.

When I purchased the MM3, I did not purchase an intake probe like I did for the EGT. Not sure if they even make one. I assume it is reading something out of the OBD port or is something messed up with the device itself? Maybe a bad sensor?

Can someone point me in the right direction? Not a car guy, but learning

MM3 IT is the IT of the MM3 itself. It being in the windshield would naturally raise the temp as well if in the sun. "Computers" run warm.

LOL unless it's too hot to touch then I wouldn't worry about it if it were me.

Was your defrost on high heat? Your MM3 will pic that temp up since its close to the defrost vents.
