If you attempt to clean it use a Non-Chlorinated cleaner.

    @cumminsdieselfreak

I replaced the intake air temp sensor on the cold air intake pipe. The ambient air temp is now reading the proper temp and not pegged at 260 like before. I still have the same DTC after attempting to clear it. Now I notice my intake manifold temp is around 190+ in 34 degree temps while going 65/70.

    Help this peasant? Haha.

Why and how are you reading the intake manifold temp? MM3?

    Through the EZ Lynk dashboard.

Before replacing the iat sensor the intake manifold temp was roughly 10 degrees ish higher than outside air temp (taken from weather app).

The ambient air temp was pegged at 260.

Now, the ambient temp is nearly on the money.

For the first 30 mins of driving Ms daisy, the intake manifold temp was 15ish warmer than ambient.

I passed a car with 40% throttle and the temp then jumped to 190 and stayed around that range.

Could just be a false reading.

Around 30* to 60*ish(conditions dependent) is what it normally would run above ambient. An aftermarket intercooler would lower temps some, we have a few options if that's a route you'd wanna take.

Do you know why I can't seem to get rid of this code - p0111?

I replaced the sensor. Tried deleting the dtc. Wiring looks good.

Only other thing I can think of is the fact my truck has gone into battery saver mode quite a bit this year. I'm getting a noco genius 2 to see if that helps with the bat saver.

    Could that be the problem?

Could be, these trucks do stupid things on weak batteries. I have a noco2 on each battery because mine sits 85% of the time. Anytime you try to clear codes or do anything with the computer, charged batteries are a MUST.

Would 1hr long drive not fully charge the batteries?

Also, is this guy on the intake elbow/horn the same sensor that's on the cold air intake?

The sensor removed is what I took out of the cold air intake.
