    Heater Not Working (COLD)

Well, winter is here and I have heater problems.

My heater has been working just fine then suddenly one morning it quit working and is only blowing out ambient temps.

I can move air flow from defrost to feet and back but still no change it temp.

I felt the passenger side floor and no wet or damp carpet. I also felt of the heater core and it is hot.

    So what could it be?

Sounds like the heater control door is stuck closed?

Not an expert on this but something is blocking the heat from coming into the cab.

Hopefully someone on here has had this issue and will chime in.

    What in the world!?!

    Now the heater is working.

    Just my luck.

When I have time to work on something it works just fine.

I bet money on it when I go back to work I won’t have any heat.

    Well I was wrong.

Looks like it’s a bad actuator but just on the driver side.

Anyone know where the blend door for the left side is located?

Found the blend door for the left side and seems to be working.

    Which don’t make sense.

Why is my passenger side have heat and driver side does not?

Just wondering if the actuator on the driver’s side is moving but the door is disconnected and stuck closed?

I think I need to flush my heater core.

Everything I have read seems to point back at problems with my heater core being partially plugged.

I hope this is all that it is.

    Heater cores are pricey.

Hope the flush solves the problem, replacing the heater core doesn’t look like much fun either.

    Please keep us posted.
