    Train Transmission - Relearning Process

I just installed the DRD tunes on my 2018 2500 6.7L and was wondering about how to teach the transmission.

Also the def fluid level show fuel which is less than half full.

After tuning your DEF Gauge will always show full regardless of the amount in the tank, this is normal.

Please see the attached information from Revmax on 68RFE relearn recommendations.

    Welcome to the family!

    Check out @AK Bob link.

Also DRD programs the DEF to show full all the time.

I personally like that feature. Call me OCD but looking at a half or empty gauge bothers the crap out of me. LOL

Make sure you drain all that DEF out of the tank and flush it good to keep it from crystallizing.

Which tunes did you go with friend?

    Emissions compliant or full delete?

It should have been the emissions compliant though I asked about the ability to possibly delete later so I sent an email to Ray as I would hate to clog the DPF in the meantime.

I was also wondering if there is a location on the monitor to view the transmission line pressure.

I must apologize in my answer late last night I just assumed you had the full non-emissions complaint tune. Good that you contacted Ray as he will get you sorted out. . If you have a 68RFE transmission then you can monitor line pressure. Please keep us posted.

In that case DO NOT take the DEF tank out and flush. Leave it like it is. I thought you were fully deleted. Just top your DEF tank off. With emissions compliant you will use twice the DEF.

I spoke with Ray and I did order the delete version so I am looking at an exhaust kit that I hope to receive by Friday before I go out of town.
