    How Are 150% Over Injectors To Start?

    I just installed my 150% over injectors and the first day it started really well in the shop but 2nd day in the cold it had a ton of smoke and misses.

    Is that the nature of the beast or do I need to work on tune more?

    It was so rough I don't know if it would even start when it gets really cold.

    It would definitely smoke out my neighbors.

    Are you grid heater deleted?

    Keep it on your lowest setting tune for morning starts.

    16 cummins Laramie longhorn, ccsb, 35x12.5x20 xplora mts ,tis wheels,fully deleted, pusher add a turbo kit,stainless diesel 475 5blade turbo over 63mm VGT delete turbo,manton springs, manton valve bridges,manton pushrods,ARP 625 headstuds,steedspeed t4i manifold , S&S 80% over injectors, thuren rear trackbar, kingspeed billet valve cover, revmax valve body billet plate, CCV reroute, pusher intake horn, thuren 2in level with king 2.5 front and rear, sway bar kit ,track bar and king steering damper. Air bags from airlift. 4" exhaust, fass lift pump,MM3,DRD tunes.pusher coolant reroute.

    I don’t believe 150% over injectors would cause this issue, hopefully someone who has them will comment.

    I am wondering if perhaps you have a leaking injector.

    Yeah it's very possible.

    I did redo my whole fuel system so contamination could have happened when I redid everything.

    I'd retorq feed tubes and injectors also possibly consider changing o rings.

    Follow the torque down procedure for the injectors and tubes pretty important.

    Yeah I definitely followed TQ sequence and even tightened and loosened like it said and retorqued.

    I also just tried tightening them a bit more by hand right now but didn't help.

    I have good rail pressure. It seems more and more like a leaking injector.

    Who did your injectors, or where did u get them from?

    I got them from Dynomite.

    They were new injectors.
