Thread: I Lost My SD Card - Now What?

  1. Top Of Page | #1

I Lost My SD Card - Now What?

So I just went to grab my SD card to load one of my tunes but it must have popped out and I can't find it.

I tried putting an SD card in but it says invalid SD card.

What do I get to do to get this to work?

I have my stock file if needed.

If you didn't make a copy of it you'll need to contact whoever wrote the files.

That's fine if the truck is in stock form.

What year is it and what all is done to it?

    It's a 2016 and it's not stock.

I am just wondering if I need to use the recovery file to just get the folder structure back up and working on the SD so I can put my tunes back on?

If you lost the original card you're stuck with whatever file is on the truck.

Nothing is stored on the MM3 and there is no such thing as a recovery file.

There is a recovery file for stock file and I have one.

I also have all my tunes also on my computer. It sounds like you don't understand maybe or don't know the answer.

I just need to know how to make my SD card useable.

If you have all the files saved on your computer transfer them to the sd card and reformat it with the tool on MM3s website.

Absolutely correct if you can’t find the original micro SD card and you don’t have a backup of all the files that were on it you will need to contact your tuner for the missing files.

You can use MM3 Agent to initialize and install the folders on a new card 16 GB or less capacity but you will still need the missing files from your original tuner.

Agree with all that was mentioned.

You need to get another SD card and put the tunes you have stored on your computer onto it.
