I'm in the process of my truck snowballing, from actuator going out to now torque converter won't lock up to having some leaking injectors, so while I'm changing injectors figured I would go ahead and put studs in while the rockers are off.
Been talking to Dudes Diesel Performance on here for injectors, and he said I can get studs from them too.
So my question is ARP 425's or PPE?
I see the PPE say 10k higher tensile strength, but would love to hear real world experience from anyone one way or the other.
I've always used ARP in LS engine builds, but this is the first time going into my Cummins.
I daily the truck and tow occasionally from a car hauler, to some 15-20k stuff.
I'm going to be going with the Big Bang Injection .75 stage injectors and the trans is getting rebuilt with a billet converter.
I currently have the RaceME Ultra box tunes, but plan on getting the DRD tunes throughout this process as well.
Any advice appreciated,
Thanks!
