    Stretching 8" BDS Lift

    What's up guys?

I've been doing a little research and some thinking about where i want to take my truck build.

I'm pretty set on an 8" BDS lift but im curious if some of you know how people manage to stretch the bds 8" lift to 10 or even 12 inches?

    Are they just using spacers?

If that's the case, then wouldn't the control arms be too short?

Also assuming an adjustable tracbar has to be added to front and rear since drop brackets wouldn't compensate for the extra lift?

I just feel like going any higher than what the lift was designed for is just asking for trouble.

If anyone has any experience or has done this to a BDS lift, let me know.

All opinions and expertise are welcome.

    Thanks!

A lot of people will do a few inches of body lift on top of the suspension lift to achieve more height.

    Is this your daily driver?

Instead of stretching have you thought about going with a kit that such as the McGaughy kits?

    I have thought about it.

I'm still considering the options but I'm a really big fan of the BDS lift and have heard nothing but positive reviews about them as far as quality and the kits that they sell.

Just trying to see what kind of first hand experiences others have had.
