Sorry Amsoil is not my hero. I use Rotella Synthetic
2003- 3500 RWD Automatic. S & B intake, BD Intercooler, Pusher Air Horn, MM3 Double R Tuning, Turbo Timer, electric Flex-a-lite fans, FASS 95, 50 HP tips, upgrade to 351 turbo, 3.42 gears, Twin air compressors, air bags, Remote dual oil filters, Hellwig sway bar, Front Winch. Home made Fuel Heater, BD Exhaust brake with Torque Lock. Tons of TLC
I feel bad for you then. Do an oil analysis on it, and then Amsoil.
the difference is not worth the cost. Their bypass remote filters however. . . . . I like those.

It does for me, LOL.
It looks like I get the same performance. I don't send out samples. I do the clean jar test. Old school. My maint frequencies have not changed so my samples are pretty mileage consistant. The results settled in the bottom of the jar are about the same. I also magnet my oil filters. From time to time I cut open a filter too. By eye, I don't seen enough difference to warrant 3 bucks a quart more
Sorry

I understand. I just have a garage, and see people who don't change their oil on time, and Amsoil protects better for people like that.
