    Re: CP4 Question

Im wondering if you did the CP3 conversion and then backed it up with fleece in tank lift pump assembly with the blackmarket cat filter mount upgrade for front and back would this be as good?

    Re: CP4 Question

The CP3 conversion from Industrial Injection paired with Fleece in tank pump will let you get plenty of power gains up to 850hp with supporting injectors. The filter swap when using CAT 1R-0750 is a 2 micron filter vs factory 5 micron. Not only is the filtration better with the CAT filter but the price of the filter is less than 1/2 of a Mopar brand. If you are not adding power even the Fleece with S&S CP3 kit will maintain a factory like flow for more mild builds. The filtration swap results stay the same for this route as well. We have these items in stock currently!

I run the cat filter and have notice a significant difference when I change the under hood filter and inspected it. I’m going to go with the delete kit and get rid of it all together. The cat filter is the way to go.

Are you running a Fass or air dog fuel system?

Neither I just added the cat filter kit. What’s the advantages of those kits? I just have a full delete and exhaust.

I’ve had 8 pumps come apart at the dealership I work at. Most had 20k miles or less.

I don’t know if it’s a lube or pressure issue since the roller assembly turns in the pump.

I would probably convert to CP3 after warranty up.

The Gen 1 CP4 is an asymmetrical cam design which is why they fail. The gen 2 uses a symmetrical cam which would make it comparable to a CP3.
