    IAT / Map Readings Problem

Question. I've got a 2008 cummins 6.7 with a CM2100 running in standalone mode and with a scangauge and also efilive data viewer I show IAT at 250-400F.

That just seems wrong to me. I've mapped out the wires directly to the ECM and I think I've got the right sensors.

People keep telling me I got the wrong sensors but I'm pressure sure they are correct.

If I unplug pin 1 at the ECM, the scan gauges goes to -23F so I know pin 1 is the input for the IAT readings.

    Anyone have any ideas?

Or maybe I still have the wrong part number?

How can I test the MAP sensor on the bench?

I've replaced all the map / iat sensors.
    2897333 at the intake manifold
2897332 at the airbox near the MAF

I've also verified the wires from sensor to ecu pins.
    for MAP
pin 1 boost pressure to pin 19 ecm (c1)
    pin 2 5v to pin 36 ecm (c1)
pin 3 air intake temp pin 1 ecm (c1)
    pin 4 ground pin 48 ecm (c1)

and also the airbox pressure / temp sensor
pin 1 inlet air pressure pin 20 ecm (c1)
    pin 2 5v
pin 3 inlet temp pin 24 ecm (c1)
    pin 4 grd

    IAT / Map Readings Problem

Hmm I've been studying the 08 service manual from dodge and it looks like pin 1 of the ecm goes to a 2 pin temp sensor.

And my map sensor should go from pin3 -> pin 11 instead.

Does anyone know what the part number is for the 2 pin IAT sensor is for an 07.5-9 ?

Re: IAT / Map Readings Problem

Looks like I"m just answering myself.

Talked to a tuner and he says pin1 is used for export vehicles.

US trucks us the 4 pin (boost+temp) map sensor.

I moved my intake temp sensor wire from pin 1 -> pin 11.

Hooking up autoenginuity, the temperature looks good now.

Inlet temp is 61F, and charged air temp is 70 now.

Scan gauge still thinks my temp is -23F (due to no connection on pin 1).

Hopefully tuner can fix this but at least now this isn't affecting fueling.
