    600 Mile Club

Well I think I have a candidate for the 600 mile club. (600 miles to a tank)

MMMM Let's see. I wasted the first gallon screwing around, Bucked 10 and 15 MPH head winds for 200 miles and got home from North Carolina on the same tank. I could have easily made it. It 21.6 gallons

Now let's see what she'll do with the 342 gears

    2003- 3500 RWD Automatic.
S & B intake, BD Intercooler, Pusher Air Horn, MM3 Double R Tuning, Turbo Timer, electric Flex-a-lite fans, FASS 95,
50 HP tips, upgrade to 351 turbo, 3.42 gears, Twin air compressors, air bags, Remote dual oil filters, Hellwig sway bar, Front Winch. Home made Fuel Heater, BD Exhaust brake with Torque Lock. Tons of TLC

My 2012 Ram has never gone much more than 600 kms on a fuel up. Empty the best it has done is just under 700 kms, while loaded it usually needs fuel a lot sooner. Since new it has calcualted to aprox 10.5 US mpg. My 2008 Ram was similar until I started to modify it...it was easily getting 20 mpg empty and a best of 15 US mpg while towing 12,500 lbs. One day I will try some similar mods to my 2012 truck.

Most I've gotten 2002 2500 was 650 miles a tank, filled her up 31 gallons, still had 4 to spare.

    600 Mile Club

I get a consistent 480 miles to a tank with out trying. Working on 600 plus right now, headed to Georgia from Texas.

Any driving techniques you can share Polaraco?

My truck is a 1996 ram 3500 Dooley single cab 12 valve automatic with 355 gears holset hx40 W turbo 75 hp injectors.
I have been reading up on the boost to mpg thing but doesn't really make much sense because, I can drive 55 miles an hour and when I get cruising I'm getting two PSI boost or I can accelerate to 70 miles an hour once I get cruising I am back at 2 psi boost so doesn't make sense

    Why Me?

2 seems a bit low. I run at 6 PSI at cruising speed
