Not unless you destroyed the old one on it taking it off.
I used my old one and works great.

Just did it this morning and I reused mine.
Worked fine through the test drive.
Only miles will tell but it was in great shape.
I went ahead and replaced mine, though I'm sure it wasn't necessary.
