    Negative Camber Issue

I tried searching all over, and nothing really applied to my issue.

    I have a 2004 RRAM 3500 currently with a 3” coil lift and 22x14’s with 305/45R22’s.

The previous setup had a 6” lift with 37x13.5’s, and before taking those off, there was a considerable amount of inner tread wear on the front 2 tires.

Upon looking at the truck from the front head-on, you could see a very noticeable negative camber.

Now I’ve been told this usually comes down to ball joints since these trucks don’t really have a way to adjust camber in stock form.

The question is, would regular ball joints solve this, or should I go with a set that has adjustable upper joints?

I’m hopefully ruling out a bent axle and going with bad ball joints.

Taking it to an alignment shop tomorrow for a second opinion.

    Thanks!

Do not under any circumstances let any shop talk you into adjustable ball joints.

You just need a set of quality ball joints (Carli, EMF, or Dynatrac) not the woefully inadequate ball joints that come from places that try to sell you offset or adjustable ball joints.

What’s the point to adjustable ball joints then?

Is it just a marketing scheme?

What’s the purpose of the oversized ones they sell as well?

As far as brand I was looking at Moog primarily.
