    EGR Bypass Hose Delete

    Good morning!
Will be removing my EGR system shortly on my 2013 6.7 and have a quick question on the coolant bypass hose. When I look at most of the kits out there they accomplish three things:

1 - block off plates for the intake air horn port. I don't require this as I've ordered a new air horn which will also replace the throttle plate.
2 - block off the exhaust manifold ports. I'll need these.
3 - bypass the coolant. This seems to be the only place where leaks can occur. Is it possible to plug the head and the three way connector in some fashion?

    Thanks!
    Steve

    1. Yes
    2. Yes
    3. You can plug the head.

Are you wanting to plug the EGR riser at the top or bottom?

The reroute kits are a good option IMO just a couple hose clamps and it’s easy to see/work on up top.

    Thank you for the help!

You are right - in retrospect it's just as easy to bypass and be done.
