    Wig Wags

Just checking to see if anyone has had experience trying to connect a wig wag flasher for emergency lights (fire dept).

My truck has halogen tail lamps and planning to keep it that way tried led one time and wasn't real impressed.

Don't want any lamp out messages or anything.

Are these for the taillights or headlights?

I haven’t tried hooking up flashers but have used LED’s or strobes.

Galls might have what you're looking for?

    Strobes n more, showme etc....

I've had bad experiences with wig wags on 2 vehicles and for almost the same money you can buy led hidaways.

The one that I have can be used with any bulb the plan was to use them on my brake and back up lights.. but I could use them on parking and high beams or fog lights......its a older(code 3) flasher that I had on another truck .Just tossing it around as a idea to use it or not since I already have it..... have been considering just using led strobes though

LED strobes would be more effective and they last forever.

I would think using wig wags on your brake and reverse lights would confuse the canBUS system.

Thats what I was thinking as well. I know how hard it was to get a hid kit to fool it!

    Exactly!

I had to double up my canBUS adapters just on one light to get the HID,s to work.

Get a Tazer unit and you don't have to add anything to the vehicle.

If your truck is equipped with VSIM you can also strobe the lights through that as well.

Is that like the alfa OBD unit?

    Not quite.

It connects to OBD & lets you set up your flasher settings through the multi function display in the dash.
