    FASS 165GPH - Cummins

Just replaced the filter on my FASS system.

Had a hard time priming the system.

Finally I filled the filters up with diesel and it started running.

The FASS system isn’t coming on when the key is on or when the truck is running.

It does come on for a split second when you turn the key on then nothing else.I have straight wires the pump and it comes right on.

Checked voltage at the inline fuse and the relay all check out and have 12 volts.

Could the safety fuel cut off switch cause the pump not to come on.

Need some help don’t know what else to do.

I know you said it’s directly wired to pump.

Does this mean you aren’t using the factory harness at all?

    What year truck?

    2013.

It runs from the fass up to the battery which there’s a relay and a inline fuse.

It has a sump on the tank as well.

That’s the power for the pump yes.

I would check the harness that is over the tank and make sure it’s clean and tight.

Should have one of the red locking tabs on it.

It is what should control you fuel gauge reading/ECM controls.

Well I do know my fuel sending unit is bad.

The shop couldn’t get one due to back order from the COVID, nut hasn’t been a issue until now.

Checked the connection from the pump to the plug at the top of the tank and it was tight and clean.
