    TPMS Issue

I bought my truck with a TPMS warning light on the passenger rear, but chalked it up as just a sensor being messed up.

I had my tires rotated with my last oil change, and when I got into the truck to leave the warning light was on.

To double check it was just that sensor I brought up the screen. to my surprise, the false/no reading didn't move with the tire, it stayed in the same location (PR)!

I did check, and can confirm, the tires were in fact rotated, and the sensor that wasn't reading before, is now giving a read out.

So if it isn't a TPMS sensor, do you guys have any idea what is it?

Have you driven it for several miles after rotate? Sometimes it takes several road miles to calibrate

I would try and replace all the wheel sensors and see if that works.

The batteries only last around 5-7 years if not sooner.

I agree with this- I had one that was an issue- had a new one put in when I had new tires put on.

Then I still had it showing in the same spot even after replacing.

Long story short after a couple trips to the tire shop i replaced all 4.

FWIW mines a 2013 and just rolled 88k.

Dang I thought my 2012 with 105k on it was low LOL (got it with 97k in July)

I'm going to bring it to a tire shop I guess.

Thanks for all of the help guys.

It was stumping me for a bit.

    That is still low miles!

I got mine with 58k on it and haven’t driven it much the past few years.

Only about 10k miles a year.
