    Re: 18" VS 20"

The 285/75/18 Toyo Rt I just put on my 17 F250 have a 4090 lb per tire capacity and an E rating.

Most of the F rating were 100 lbs less.

I don’t notice a bad ride but I hate a mushy tire in curves and I live in an area with very few straight roads besides the major highways.

I wouldn't mind the extra life though.

They do have them in E.

If you want extra life go Toyo instead of the nittos.

Everything I've ever heard is that Nittos are good tires but only last half of the miles that most other brands do.

I will add that I have ran almost every tire out there, but I haven't run Nittos yet and to be quite honest I probably won't.

I have pretty much settled in on the fact that I really really like the Toyo RT in a mud tire style and nothing beats the BFG AT in the snow.

Also I don't think that the compound is any different in the load range F tires just extra layers in the sidewall.

Not sure that they actually would get you extra life.
