What kind of input?
Are you meaning like mileage loss/gains and wear issues?
I’m running 35x12.5x20- for mostly street and gravel roads.
I’ve had zero issue and I personally like the look of 20s with 35” vs 18s.

I guess of there is really much difference in ride quality and overall performance.
I like the look of 20s better, but the price is a bit lower for rims/tires for the 18s.

Overall it will more so come down to the tire selected and the psi that it is run.
If you are set on 35s you should save sims weight going with the larger 20” wheels.
Lowering your psi below the factory tpms 75+ makes a huge difference in ride quality.

I’m running 35’s on 18” rims. I personally like the look better than 20” plus you have more sidewall running an 18”.

37s on 20s or 35s on 18s has always been my rule to get the best ride out of them.
Let me give a couple of questions for you that may give you some things to think about though.
Have you looked at the price of a 35" tire for a 20" wheel?
Also have you tried to find an E rated tire with enough load capacity in a 35" for a 20" wheel?
The 35x12.50R20 tires tend to cater to the lightweight trucks and jeeps anymore it's fairly difficult to find one with an adequate 3400lb+ load rating. Plus anything that goes around a 20" wheel tends to cost more.
Also just my past experience but a 35 on a 20 isn't the best for towing I found it to wander a bit.
Now that I've ripped on 20"s I will also mention that for the last 2 years I've ran a 37" on a 20" and I'm now running a 38" on a 20" and I do very much like the look of 20" wheels on these trucks and can understand where this question comes from.

I have been running the factory 20x8.5 rims with 295/65R20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers (35x11.5) Load Rating E.
I want to go to 35x12.50 Nitto Ridge Grapplers Load Rating F. The total package is about $550 less for the 18x9 vs 20x9 rims.

I can't recommend against load range F enough. Ultimately up to you and your application, but the unloaded ride with an F rated tire sucks the additional two sidewall plys create a very stiff ride even when tire pressure is adjusted very low.
If you only use your truck for hauling or potentially have a service bed or something of that nature that warrants the extra capacity of an F range tire that changes things a bit, but if you have a stock truck with no additional weight adders and most of your driving is highway and unloaded I would highly recommend against the F range tires.

The load rate letter refers to the amount of plys in the sidewall not the weight rating given

I was wondering if the F rating tires would be a lot stiffer.
I wouldn't mind the extra life though.
They do have them in E.
