Noob To Cummins - Few Questions - Sorry For My Noobness

    Hey everyone.

So I did it. I got rid of the PS and got a Cummins.

Super excited to be in this rig. I got a 2016 3500 Cummins MCSB.

I bought it as is with an existing installed S&B CAI, Edge programmer, looks like a 5” tailpipe (DPFback)with a 6” tip, leveled front end 20” fuel wheels with 35” nitto trail grapplers.

Runs great with no apparent issues yet after putting on roughly 1000 miles from the dealer.

I have a couple questions regarding the existing Edge programmer.

I’m not real sure to tell what tunes exist on it? It’s got the EAS module or whatever it’s called with the “juice setting”.

    Are these just boxed tunes?

I’m planning on lighting this thing up soon underneath and under the hood and was wondering if I would need to install new tunes to this programmer and what that particular process would be.

I’m it the process of getting the Mrs. on board with me subs I omg as a lifetime platinum member and will hopefully be joint real soon.

Any and all insight y’all could provide at this moment would be much appreciated. See pics of the beaut!!

Use the current tunes for sure, it allows the truck to run with the DPF delete.

I can't help you with current available tunes.

Maybe email the major tuners your vin and see if anyone has done the tunes.

To learn a lot and for many questions read the noobies thread sticky

    Good looking rig!

It seems like it does have Edge box tunes.

There are options but more limited at the moment due to EPA.

There’s a lot of good info on here.

Feel free to let us know if you have questions.

If you need parts ya guys at Dudes would love to earn your business!
