    Boost Tube Question

So I have a banks intercooler with boost tubes and just ordered a second-gen swap and was looking over the kit and the boost tube is smaller than the banks one so I either need a custom made boost tube or a new silicone boot.

Does anyone know where to get either one made?

    Or have any suggestions.

    Thanks

Sorry for the question I am confused

Is the charger outlet diameter smaller on the 2nd gen swap or is It the length that’s an issue?

the second gen pipe is smaller diameter and the banks pipe is meant for the stock location. But inlet and outlet is bigger on the banks intercooler so the boot my second gen kit came with won’t work.

I would think even with a high mount 2nd gen swap if you clocked the turbo down to 7 o’clock is that you would be able to make it work. The banks boot is the same length as stock just a larger diameter right?

    I'll have to try that.

And they look the same length but diameters are a lot different.

I would think the boost tube would be smaller diameter where it clamps to turbo then get larger for majority of the boot and stay larger diameter to clamp onto intercooler.

The turbo is a v band clamp and the tube is 2.75in my banks boost tube is 3.5in and the inlet on the intercooler is 3.5in so I just need a boot to go from the intercooler to the 2.75 boost tube. But it’s a 45 degree boot and I can’t find those sizes. LOL
