    PSI?

    Hey yall, so I have 35x12.5xr18 Toyos on my 2018 2500 4x4.

Tires call for 80PSI but door sticker says 80 in the rear and 60 in the front.

I have the capability of changing the TPMS with my tuner, so that isn't an issue.

Just wanted to hear some input on what you guys run and why.

    Thanks, God Bless!

Like both the letter and the weight number that is right next to the psi rating.

    Also still stock wheel?

    PSI?

I run around 65-70 all the way around on mine. 80 is the Max you can put in but keep in mind on hot roads the air pressure goes up 5-7 psi.

    Re: PSI?

35x12.5x20 toyo atll- I run 65psi front and 50 rear unless I am towing heavy.

It rides WAY better than 70+ psi before I could change it.

TPMS Is set to 30psi so I will know if I get a flat.

You could always do the chalk test as well

    Re: PSI?

Guessing you meant 3970 on the weight rating.

First thing you're going to do is swear it whoever sold you F range tires unless you needed them for towing.

The primary reason I say this it you now have an excessively stiff sidewall with no real benefit as most wheels are only rated to 3600lbs.

Second thing is I'm betting your target air temps are going to be 40-45 in the front and 30 in the rear when empty.

Probably 45 in the front and 50 ish in the rear when you have over 500lbs in the bed.

Obviously when loaded to capacity you will want to adjust upward accordingly.

I highly suggest looking up how to chalk your tires on YouTube and following that procedure.

You will be surprised by how little air you can actually run in them and the ride quality improvement that can be had with the lower tire pressure.

PS: if you load and unload frequently and don't want to constantly change tire pressure then just set your rears to match the front. It should handle most day to day tasks.
