I have a 2015 RAM 3500.
It currently has 69k on it and recently started making a whining noise that sounds like a power steering whine when I hit bumps and sometimes when in a curve.
It will not do it sitting still and turning the wheel. Any ideas on what the problem could be?

Have you checked the power steering fluid?

Not Saying it's the level - but this is one of my main reasons for at least sucking out the ATF out of the Reservoir every other year and filling with new (Synthetic ATF)
I'm also (NOT) saying ATF neglect was what caused this issue..
I use a large plastic syringe w/10" clear tubing - takes about 15 min.

I get the same thing. I have 114k mi, but it’s been doing it for the last 50k or so.
Worse lately, maybe due to the cold weather, don’t know.
Happens over one particular railroad crossing and pulling out of areas.
Thinking it happens mostly with areas of dips with turns.
The RR crossing is straight however, just a very tall crest.

Getting worse.
Hate to take it to the dealership and have them charge me just to diagnose it.

Im not one to throw parts at things but I am certainly not one to take it to the dealer.
New Pump (A1 brand) is $180 bucks online, if it were my truck I would consider replacing it vs taking it to the dealer.
That or research and see if there is a decent diesel shop in the area.
