    Tow Mirrors?

I bought a 2018 that has the sport/non towing mirrors on it.

I have memory, power fold, turn signal, and heat in them.

I am wanting to find OEM replacements and was curious if the 2020 models would work?

I have read on here about a company that makes a kit that’s about $1200-1500 and I can justify that much but I am sick of these tiny little mirrors.

    Any help/ideas are appreciated.

I picked up a pair of tow mirrors from 1A Auto and they work great total cost $608.

If you want the controls to work properly when you flip them up you will need to reprogram the truck.

I used Alpha OBD cost for that was $50 I think.

I already had the Bluetooth connector.

Do they still power fold and function properly, and does the glass shake?

I had heard rumors they weren’t high quality?

    Re: Tow Mirrors?

I also have 1A Auto mirrors.

Mine are not power fold or anything (my truck is a SLT).

My passenger mirror shakes a little, but that's because the dumba** behind this keyboard snapped one of posts when installing that side.

Everything was plug and play.. took like 5-10 minutes per side, tops.

    Re: Tow Mirrors?

I have 1A Auto trailer tow mirrors and would not recommend.

I installed the chrome ones with added power fold switch for my 2012 SLT.

The chrome has pitted and discolored and will not polish out.

The power folds usually need to be pushed back out by hand after pushing the button.. both sides simultaneously.

Even then, drivers side doesn't extend fully. Wish I had gone with all black and manual fold... probably would have been just fine.

I have the all black mold in color manual folding, but power and heated glass.

    I forgot to add that.

Mine work fine, I don't fold them in and out very often, but the last time I did they both worked fine.

The glass shakes a little at freeway speeds but it isn't bad.

One of the motors did stop working in the up down motion with the mirrors up but I don't move them once adjusted.

I have an extra set of mirrors because when I bought them one mirror was broken in shipping.

I sent them an email with pictures and before I could even follow up with them I had a new pair, couldn't believe it.
