68RFE From BD Or From Revmax?

I will have the transmission swapped out in the near future, not experiencing any problems, just want to address the 130k OE trans before it does leave me stranded.

    2013 Ram 2500 4X4
    Stock tires, wheels and suspension.
Mild RDR tune, 4" exhaust from turbo back.
I pull a horse trailer, travel trailer and a bed full of firewood.

Just wanting to know which would be a better trans to have installed, BD or Revmax?

    Thanks for your opinions.

    BD info. https://us.bddiesel.com/collections/...ice-descending

    Rev Max info. https://revmaxconverters.com/product...-dodge-diesel/

Curious if you are doing full build or partial. Where are you located?

    Ray recommends RevMax.

I’ve got revmax VB ordered for install.

When I spoke with Revmax they spoke highly of Ray and how he uses his shift strategies with their products.

My money goes to Revmax hands down.

My RevMax customers love their Revmax products.

I was planning on a full replacement, swap out the old with new.

With that kind of investment, I want to go with a tried and true performer.

    North Texas is the location.

Not sure how far north you are.

Altered Diesel Wurks in Marble Falls has a good reputation.

If you don’t mind a bit further ride TSD in San Antonio is a great spot as well.

I'm North of Dallas, a bit South of Sherman.

I was thinking of a local shop to do the swap out, thanks for the info though.

Just need to figure out which RevMax option will be best for me. Glad I'm not dealing with a munched trans, I've got time to make an informed decision.

BD options were less than RevMax, however some of the RevMax options are not in consideration, too much $$$ and I'm not racing or pulling a sled.

Maybe talk to Dallas Pen owner of red horse motor sports in Denton.

They are one of the few shops that race what they build and put up some big numbers.

I’ve talked to him a few times at events real nice guy.
