    Adding G56 Tranny Fluid

I need to change my transmission fluid but I dread going through the shift boot to add the last quart.

I was thinking maybe I could get what I could in it, then pull about 50 feet onto a hill side and then adding the rest.

    Anyone done this?

You'd have to have a pretty steep hill to get the last quart in.

Filling from the top isn't that bad.

Some screws for the plastic console (four or five I think), then four bolts for the shift plate.

Did not know, thanks for the clarification.

How about this idea:make a hose and run it to under the hood like an auto.

Then you could always leave it there with a cap.

Could make it pretty nice with a threaded adapter to a hose, then a hard line with a couple of standoff clamps.

I added my extra quart from the fill hole with the passenger side pulled up on the oil change ramp.
