    Pepperidge Farm Remembers

After a few days of trying to figure out exactly what's going on here I finally came upon this forum, so here's my obligatory cryptic introduction.

What seems like a lifetime ago, in 2015, I owned a 2008 6.7L off road desert race truck handled by a company in Tennessee that never gave me a single issue.

Unfortunately I no longer had a need for the truck and sold it in 2019, opting to purchase a ford transit and live in it to save money both from cutting my vehicle payment in half and completely eliminating rent (for a place I was at less than 1/3 of the year).

Before I get insta-booted let the record show I'm no dirty van hippy, just a mountain biker at least it's an ecoboost.

Around 2016 my father bought a 2012 6.7L to tow his airstream from one side of his farm to the other, and it was also handled by the same company in Tennessee.

He sold his truck a week ago in hopes of buying probably his last newer truck even (before he retires with a laughable city pension).

Back when we originally bought these trucks information was easily accessible on other forums, you could go to a website and use a few drop down boxes to select what you wanted and a week later have your farm truck remote startup sounding like a F16.

I plan on purchasing the lifetime membership as soon as I can convince my father why he has to give me $100 to talk to strangers on the internet.

He is currently looking at 2018 2500's to continue his pilgrimage across his farm, our biggest concern is if these year models are compatible with similar enhancements of our past trucks or if the 2013-17 models are going to be his only option.

A simple yes or no answer will suffice.

    &

Believe me - The $100 that took me 3 hours @ work to earn was the best $100 I'd spent in many years.
$100 for endless knowledge about & for my 6.7L Ram & many friendships is priceless - along with access to a awesome weight loss guaranteed program.

I'm not about making Big Power -but- about long term preventive maintenance & towing effortlessly & safely.

Enjoy your stay within the community!

New here like a couple of days but I can tell you that the $100 membership seems to help weed out the internet trolls.

You seem to just find good helpful people here.

Hope it helps you to decide.

    Re: Pepperidge Farm Remembers

    Appreciate the warm welcomes!

I have convinced him in a pretty short amount of time provided I do all the work as per usual.

I have been combing through updating my knowledge and he is going to look at/pick up a 2018 sometime this week.

The amount of information here is vast and seemingly never ending, every question I had was answered to the fullest extent in minutes just using the search function.

Much better than the old days of digging through public forums.
