Anyone have a decent way to explain what it does and how one could break it?

I understand the flaws in design and how the revmax version is different and all that just don't actually understand what its roll is.

Thanks but I already understand what it is and how the design has been improved I simply don't understand how one breaks it or when it is utilized in the shifting process.

Is it only being used when in reverse?

Or is that like always when in first gear?

Sounds like it has something too do with 150 rpm out put speed.

Sorry I know that's not a very good explanation I just Google that you can get a lot more detailed information there.
