Are these units known to crater?
I got no power going to mine and these little units aren't cheap.
What can I do?
I checked all connections the fuse is good to go so must be the box?

I don't have issues with mine, knock on wood.
Did you verify you have 12v at the box?

It has to be when the power is on the fuse in the fuse box and grounded to the battery ground.
No burnt fuses?
Weird the light isnt on on the module with 0 on the Minimax.
That's why I'm asking.
If a wire is broken between the battery and the module then it wouldn't blow the fuse, but the module wouldn't have power.
That would present itself like you described, but is an easy cheap fix.
Do you have a meter or test light?
Of so, use it to see if there is 12 volts where the power wires connect to the module.

Yup module is toast.
I got power from the plug to the fuse box.
That's to bad this unit is only 4 months old.
Not impressed!
Well that sucks.

so i went to take the module off and turned it upside down ,,and the thing was full of water LOL ,,,so that would explain the erattic numer fluctuating and turning on and off ...i dried it out and its still messed up so shes toast,,,i found a brand new pch kit here in my home province for 50 bucks wich is a steal of a deal so gonna go with that ..replace the module hook it back up and relocate the box LOL
Well.
Dang.
That'll do it.

It seems there have been a lot of guys with fried PCH boards for the pyro setups.
One common point with most of them, is that the box gets wet then most all times its toast.
I always wondered, why does everyone mount their PCH box in the engine compartment?
I mounted mine in the cab on the heavy aluminum clutch bracket.
Perfect fit and the factory wiring worked fine hooked up on the main Battery and fuse box. Just my thoughts.
Mine is in the cab under the dash too.
No issues so far.
