    Patriots Day 9/11 Never Forget

The base where I work lit up a building in patriotic colors last night.

I took this on my way home from work with my cell phone.

The picture doesn't do it justice.

I hope everyone will stop and remember all who perished on this fateful day 19 years ago, as well as all those who have sacrificed in one way or another since.

Thank you for sharing that pic.

We need the reminder with as crazy as the world is getting.

    I remember the day well.

I was a route driver in a small rural Oregon town and my truck did not have a radio.

I ran across another driver in the usual spot that day and he informed me what had happened.

At first I thought it was a practical joke as the other driver is known for that but it didn't take long to realize it was for real.

    A very sad day indeed.

Great pic, yes the blood pressure still upticks a bit on this day!

No room for radicles no matter what the topic or time etc...It was on the hangar floor at work (USAF).

SILENCE, as we were watching, until we were told to go home and wait for the call, I went home and packed.

The rest, as they say, occurred naturally and spontaneously.

We did what the Air Force does best.

Needless to say, we softened up a bunch of real-estate for others who do the deed!

God Bless all and esp those who lost on that day and those who continue to lose and left some of ourselves as well as friends over there! I love you all!

So raise one or two, toast each other and hug your families, tell yer kids and grandkids about this Flag and its glory! 'Til Valhalla.
